Mark of the Beast

I am seeing a popular false teaching on YouTube. They claim that Sunday worship is the mark of the Beast. This is WRONG! Yes, in the old testament Saturday was the sabbath, but because of Jesus we are no longer under old testament law. We are under a new law given by Christ in the New Testament.

Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: This is what these false teachers are doing, they are trying to bring us into bondage under the old law!

Hebrews 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Hebrews 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (New Testament Law)

Colossians 2:

12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us (the Old Law), which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: (Not Saturday anymore)

Romans 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Because of the hardness of man’s heart Moses made the Laws easier. But Jesus said, it was said of old thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say to look at a women and lust after her you have committed adultery already in your heart.

Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 2:19-21 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Shall we make Christ’s sacrifice of none effect by trying to follow the old testament Law, God forbid! Sunday worship is not the mark of the Beast!
